Trail Blazer III
I have been on here a while and finally decided to Membership up. I am originally from Northern California and The Military brought me to SAN Diego and this is now home for me. I am in the process of ordering a 2018 Rubicon and look forward to getting it out on the trails. As it stands I have no rig and tons of brand new gear in boxes in my garage waiting to be installed
I never imagined being apart of a community like this, however when my oldest son was born with a heart defect I knew that my dream of grooming the next MLB Superstar went out the window. So I knew I needed to find other hobbies and things I can share with him. Since he was a baby he loved camping and I knew sitting in the front seat of his grandpas CJ and Turing around to see him bouncing around with a huge smile and laughing uncontrollably that this was it.
To me overlanding is about family and friends. I am getting involved in this community to share with my family and now my 3 boys and my wife. I look forward to having quality unplugged time and meet great new people to share in the experiences. I hope to learn from the vast knowledge on this forum and maybe someday pay it forward. Thanks
Joe
