I live in Conway, SC (near Myrtle Beach). I've picked up my first 4x4, and I'm hoping to find some people in my area that are willing to let a beginner tag along. From all of my research, I've turned up pretty empty on trails in my state, it seems that there are zero state parks, trails, or forests that are vehicle friendly. So there are two privately owned pieces of land, and a WMA 20 minutes from me, but it doesn't have designated OHV trails. The only real OHV park I can find within 2 hours is Uhwarrie National Forest in NC. I'm up to drive there if there are people willing to meet up. Thanks!

Hey, I'm new to this forum as well. I live in Jacksonville nc, about two hours north from you and I've been to Uhwarrie and Troy area. Trails and camping sites are not difficult to get to, as a master of fact, when i went, i drove a Tacoma Prerunner (4×2), and i had no issues getting anywhere. I plan to take a trip next year to the Blue rdge mountains/Appalachia area and explore some of the trails from Mountain State Overland videos on YouTube or videos from Vernontoverland.com. another place you could visit is the Outerbanks, its considered one of the best destinations in the east coast.
