Hey guys

My name's Dean and I'm from Georgetown, KY. I recently went on my first trail ride and caught the itch to get into trail riding and overlanding. Im no stranger to the outdoors, but I'm brand new to the world of offroading. I'm planning on building up my daily driver to double as a weekend rig and I feel like I've got a pretty good start on it.

Here's the details on my vehicle:

2011 Chevy Silverado CCSB 1500
Suspension mods:
Fox 2.0 coilovers set to 2.5" lift
Rough Country Forged UCAs
Bilstein 5160 rear shocks
Deaver Mini-Pack

Wheels are 17x9 -12 offset Method Standards wrapped in LT285/70R17 Toyo AT2s

The only other plans I have as of now is to try to get it off the ground a little more since it still sits kind of low. When I took it out on the trail, there were a couple places I bottomed out, so I either need to get it off the ground more or pick lighter routes. Here’s some of the things I’m wanting to do.

Lift 1/2” more all the way around (have the parts)
Add 1 1/2” body lift (have the parts)
Go back to heim tie rods? (Have the parts)
34s or 35s on stock wheels for the trail (stocks have a much lower offset so much easier to clear the larger tires.
Maybe a drawer/storage system for the rear?
Swap hard tri-fold cover for camper shell or softopper
Swap steps out for rock sliders or n-fab rocker rail steps.

It will definitely be spring before I get to toy around with it anymore, my second son is due mid-January so I’ll be pretty busy for a good while.
