Well if there was enough interest, I was thinking of finding a central location (based on the locations of whoever is interested) and having a meet and greet. There doesn't seem to be a super active offroad/overland community around and it would be nice to get something like that going.

I hear ya... I'm just south of Wichita and there sure isn't a lot of interest. The is one jeep group, with members in my area, but they only go to places like Moab as a group, they don't seem to do anything around here.

There is a group up near Kansas City that travels the Flint Hills though.

And there's definitely no Land Rover groups, especially the older ones.

It's definitely a struggle, especially since there isn't a lot of wheeling opportunities directly around us here. I'm just north of Tulsa. I know there's an orv park in Kansas that's supposed to be pretty good but I'm not aure where it's at, we usually go over to Arkansas to the Ozarks.

Actually there are several here in Kansa, but most are for motorcycles, quads and such. The one you might be thinking of is probably 'Kansas Rocks Recreation Park' in Mapleton, Kansas.

I wouldn't mind seeing Disney, but not with the crowds. Are they even still allowed to have the big jeep 'tops off' thing, especially after what happened at the last one?
