Hi guys, new here and taking the first trip with the family tomorrow. We are going to the Ozarks looking for a trail we can drive to find a good camping site. While it is a short trip , 2 days, we have never been and this is our first overland trip. Has anybody been to this area? Is there somewhere you can recommend? We are in a 2019 Silverado Z71 so kind of a big vehicle. Our grill guard will be delivered while we are gone (of course) so no winch. The truck is stock other than ko2 tires. We are taking a 2018 Yamaha Kodiak 450 with a 3500 pound warn to use as a spotter vehicle to drive in front of the truck to avoid getting into to much trouble since we are alone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope this helps. We just went out yesterday and went all the way from lake fort Smith to hwy 23 just south of St. Paul. There are plenty of trails off that stretch. We hit up shores lake. Great little spots for camping all through that stretch. You can stay plenty busy on just a 2 day trip.
