I'm still trying to find the member map??? does anyone know if the member mapis available on the app or at the website???

I believe the map is web only. https://www.overlandbound.com/map/. There is also a menu item at the top of the webpage. I can't speak to all the different apps but I've tried the iOS app (website is better imho) and never found the map there.

The member map seems to have disappeared—without notice, at least that I’ve seen—from the OBTalk app’s side menu. No mention of why on the Support page of the forum, unfortunately.

Last I heard, about ten days ago, is that things were being discussed with the developer to fix some now known issues. One issue, that of members not all showing up in a given area when searching by location, seems to have been fixed. Makes it easier to find someone now should you need help when on the road or wonder who is in your area for meet ups etc.

Other than that, no idea why the map is no longer on the app or when/if it is going to return.

The map does shows up in regular web browsers.

Hmmm, so it has! I never use the map on the mobile app, so never noticed. There was a big upgrade a week or so ago, with a new user interface, so that must have been when it went AWOL.

I'll drop a note to @Michael and see if that was the plan.

Nope, definitely not intentional. @Michael now has an email out to the developer to get this resolved.

Sure, Steve.

I'm planning and researching another long trip cross-country and back, through both US and Canada, so have been poking around to see how helpful or not the map might be if in need, and to just meet up with folks who might like to share a route, beer, or meal. I tend to put the laptop away when on the road, depending much more on my phone and iPad in my van or in camp, so have been seeing what might be helpful or not on those devices.

I figured the developer may have taken the map off the app while debugging why it opened from the app to an error page and logging out users.

im just having the worst time with this map and even on the website im signed in and that damn become a member pop up keeps popping up everywhere.
