Dear community, I need your help. We have arrived Scotland.
Just one day and approx. 300m we are stuck again after the last fix on the ignition coil. The vehicle was running fine until we stopped for a short break, when trying to start it again we have following situation again:

It is a ´98 Cherokee XJ 4.0 wich does crank but does not start.
We do have fuel pressure but no spark indicating that there might be a problem with the crankshaft position sensor, cam shaft position sensor or the ignition coil again.

We would like to give it a try with a new crank shaft position sensor, 56027866AE, cam shaft position sensor 56027023 or the ignition coil 56028172.
See also the picture as there are different plugs availabe depending on the fabrication year.
If someone would have any of those parts we are very happy to get in contact and buy those.

Does anyone know how to get quick help so that our vacation doesn't go to waste? ❤

Have you checked all your fuses? Was there any indication it was going to break down? You can call the AA breakdown recovery. They may be able to help you at the roadside.

Have you checked that the crank position sensor isn't unplugged? I once saw someone's sensor come into contact with the exhaust manifold and the insulation melted. It would be a great coincidence if that happened to you too and it could then be solved quite easily. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

If you can identify what you need i am more than happy ro order it and get it delivered to you.
Jeep is not so common in Scotland so specialist Jeep garages are few and far between.

I've reached out in a few local 4x4 groups to see if they can suggest anywhere.
Hopefully i will be able to come back with good news
