(my wife) might have to sell my 95 suburban with a 95 cummins paired to a built 4L80e, lifted on 35s, (because it's my commuter I had to keep it reasonable.) A bunch of random stuff, with a bunch more planned (part of her dislike of the truck now that my financial situation is very different) 360 LED lighting, roof rack, canopy warn 16k winch, custom built blue lake tire carrier swing out bumper and other stuff. A pdm controlling fans, trans, solar panel and aux battery ignition etc. Manual fuel shut off (totally a feature and not just a fix on the trail that became permanent because it worked and was cheap..) inline caterpillar fuel filter and fuel water seperator. Kdp fix, 3k gov springs, 0-ish fuel plate , rear disc brake conversion, a snorkel off of a landcruiser that I made mostly fit. And more that I could go on about because I love my truck.

Anyways, I know how much I put into it, and that has been an issue for her as well. Why I spent a used civic's worth on a trans is beyond her,. I have no clue what the market might be, if there is any.

Looking for advice from anyone that has sold a truck they built, and I'll be honest, its a fixed on the street, repaired on the trail, built in an apartment parking lot (until I got a letter to stop) sort of truck, not the prettiest, but I've never been unable to fix it with a hammer zip ties (fancy metal ones though) and a few sockets. It's gone everywhere I've asked it, and I get a whopping 16-18mpg unless I'm late for work, then I get 14. For those in CA, Its smog exempt here because the Sub was originally a diesel so no questions asked which is huge.

Not actually looking to sell it yet but trying to mentally prepare myself if I don't get my way.

Sorry if this in the wrong place, I didn't see a forum labeled "things that are worse than kidney stones."

You mixed the two holy grails. A Cummins diesel and a Chevy truck. Find a clean Dodge Cummins 4x4. plus a clean Suburban. Add the 2 asking prices together and let the bidding begin.

The issue is going to be finding the right buyer. Sure it may be worth a small fortune to someone, but how hard are you willing to work to get that asking price? And for how long?
