Hey Guys,

My girl and I are preplanning a trip from central Georgia up to see and camp around the park. I see that there is one camp ground but was hoping to by pass the crowds and get in some dispersed camping.
Any Overland Bound members locals to the area willing to help me out?

Thx, Eddie

Me and the wife were just talking about taking a trip there about the same time frame. I will be following this as well. I live near Pensacola Fl.

I was down there last October. I didn't see too much dispersed camping. We ended up staying at the Mammoth Campground (which was fine enough with good tree cover). There are a couple of fun dirt roads to bomb around on within the park that pass a few old (1800's) cemeteries. Houchin Ferry and Joppa Ridge Road aren't technical at all, but I'll take dirt over pavement any day of the week.
