Advocate III
I recently purchased a LED upgrade bulb for my Sure P6 when the original busted. I was very impressed initially, but though some comparison would put things into perspective. So I grabbed two of the many lights I have. The maglite (3 cell w/ fresh batteries) is the staple that everyone knows so I thought it would be a good baseline. The little HF flashlight is the same type that come in tool kits or as free gifts, I've got 4. Like $5 if you actually paid for one. I use them around the house alot, hence their inclusion. The LED upgrade ($40) is from Malkoff devices out of Alabama. Though the rechargeable 123 batteries from Veeki are Chinese.
The first three pics are from my basement, 40' from the wall. 1. Harbor Freight, 2. Maglite 3. Sure +Malkoff LED. Then I went outside with the 1. Maglite and 2. Sure +Malkoff LED.
I'm hoping that in addition to great light, the LED with vastly improve on battery life of the sure, which was always my biggest complaint with it.
