My buddy bought an old Caltrans trailer and started building an expedition style trailer a few years ago. He later had plans for a new trailer and let this one rust on the side of his house. I picked it up cheap and spent days removing rust. Then I took it to my buddies metal shop and he helped me finish it. Its everything I ever wanted. Still have a few odds and ends to add but Im very happy with it.

The List
-Tepui Gran Sabana (4 person) Tent
- Rhino Rack Fox wing awning
- Stealth custom series rims
- 315/70/17 tires
- Fox shocks valved by DSM
-Jeep 4" leaf springs
-Fold out stove and cutting board
-Blue top battery
- charge controller and 100w solar panel
- Krazy beaver murder spork shovel
- Highlift and mount
- Two 5 gallon jerry cans
-Two 10L Jerry cans
-10 pound propane tank
- Max coupler tow hitch

As I'm a trailer guy, I'm diggin it. I wouldn't be ashamed to be seen with you on the trail at all, nor would I have to worry about your capabilities !! Very nice build-up. Just curious, how much does it weigh when loaded with all your gear, gas and H20?

Take it to a Loves Truckstop with a scale. For $12.00 you can weigh it twice empty and full!

I should wieght it but it's going through so many changes. I cut out the floor and replaced it with plastic. I got a bigger tent, I added an awning at wieght almost 100. I added a swingout kitchen. I got bigger tires. Then I added a spare. I should probably re weigh it
