Looked all over for a thread about M1101 or 1102 based camping trailers. Found several noted in other threads, but wondering if there might be more out there lurking. Please post up pics of your 1101/1102 based builds!
Disclaimer: I'm going to shamelessly borrow and co-op the best ideas for my own build.

Thx!

i'm open, at this time, to both hard exterior and soft covered (I've got some experience with custom canvas work).
On one hand, I'm playing around with some designs for a convertible canvas covering over an aluminum or steel rack system (rack similar-ish) to what is on the back of the FrankenJeep build thread here
On the other, I really like the idea of some additional secure and lockable storage that can double as sleeping quarters--sort of a "base camp". I've played around with some aluminum SIP (structural insulated panels) in the past and that's definitely in the back of my mind.
I think the 1101/1102 series is a bigger trailer than the majority of folks are DIY'ing, it seems. A couple of pro builders out there are doing some really cool things with them. The Expedition Supply Blackout is a favorite idea right now.
FrankenJeep is coming down to the finish line and should be debugged, shook down, and ready to hit the road in March. I expect to hit the pavement and dirt in late 2020 or early 2021, and I still haven't sourced the trailer as yet, so I still have a little bit of time to play around with the design before I actually have to start. The goal/dream is full-time vagabonding until I get too old or too tired. :)
