My reasons for wanting a 4 dr. Are I think it would be easier to exist from the are we sleep in for my wife and I without climbing over each other. I would try to find 2-door seats for it though, reclining both seats forward give both of us the room to stretch out. We bought a Teton 0° dual sleeping bag. It zips on both sides and fits perfectly in the cargo area. The other reason I think the 4 dr. would be better is the strength in the extra door frame. Being a uni-body they swist a lot when we off-road these. But welding frame stiffiners into it should help. I have my concerns about how the rack will fair with the twisting.

Finished the rack and mounted it on my Xj yesterday. Time will tell on how well it works for me. Here are a few Pics.

I did a write up on how this was put together on the Cherokee Talk Forum in the fabrication thread. I would post a link but after reading the regulations I am not sure if it's allowed???? but a little leg work and it's easily found.
Looks very nice! Did you get a final weight on it?
