I'm putting some limb risers on my 4R and was wondering how best to load my roof rack to mitigate limb damage.

Same as normal or ...?

Am I over thinking it?

If you are using the entire rack, anything sturdy like bins and boxes I'd put up front. Better impact absorbency. If I had an RTT, I would want soemthing to protect it if it is a fabric softshell. I'd avoid putting fuel, water, puncture prone stuff up front.

I load my Wolf Pack and Plano Sportsman boxes up front sandwiching my recovery gear box. I get better aerodynamics that way too on the road..
