Update: I have temporarily removed the content in this post because a lot has changed since the previous writeup. I'm currently working on a newer version.

Great truck. I will be curious how you like the 4Wheel Camper. I have a 2004 LC100 with a James Baroud RTT, and we really enjoy them both, but in a few years we're going to have more time for longer extended trips, and the wife is about done with climbing down that ladder in the middle of the night when nature calls!

Thank you. I will be sure to keep you updated about what we learn with the FWC.

I still need to update my first post a bit, but for now, I have my first ever YouTube video to share. I am very new to videos and any feedback you have on how I can make my next video better is much appreciated!

Hey guys. Since some of you here liked my first one, I’ll share this one. I finally finished our second video, the Victory 4x4 roof rack install. It's more silly than it is informative (since they have a good tutorial already). Plus, we could all use something light during these dark times. Next video will be a camper tour.

What do you think of the camper, now that you've had it a while? We went ahead and put down a deposit on a Hiatus camper, it there's a long wait time.

Ok, question: If you live in New York, why do you have California license plates? Why would you pay Cal. registration fees if you didn't have to? Or is it cheaper than New York? As a retired CHP officer I MUST KNOW! I MUST!!

Been a while since I've posted in here, but I did a thing. Only took nearly a year but I finally made a video of the camper. Filming videos makes me feel like a lobotomy would probably be more fun. Let me know where I can improve.

Also, the gimbal has a mind of its own I swear its not me.

I only noticed this post just now, sorry.

We love it. Very roomy and comfortable. Fast to open and close. Huge upgrade from our RTT. Only thing is so of the material and build quality of smaller things are questionable. But the structural rigidity is solid.

I only noticed this post just now, sorry. I was stationed in California in the Marine Corps which is when/where I bought the truck.

Also, I suppose someone from NY might want another state because NY needs a vehicle inspection every year. Maybe they’d want to avoid it, especially for older trucks.

That makes sense. I wouldn't want to hassle with a yearly inspection either, especially with a '71 and a '65 Land Cruiser.
