My partner and I are planning a trip from Turkey to Australia by our van. We calculated the costs of taking our van to Australia by ferry and decided that we can’t afford this option. So now, we’re looking for ways to let our van stay in a South Asian country while we travel to Australia via plane. Has anyone experienced or researched leaving a van/car in any of those countries, below; Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia? I’ve got a few questions which we’re struggling to find the answers for.
1) Which of these countries' regulations are easier for leaving a van for around 3 months?
2) In which countries we can leave the van for the longest period of time?
3) In which country it’s possible/ easier to sell our van?
