If you are looking for a great way to mount your gun where it is handy in case of an emergency, I would like to recommend the Keeper Gun Magnet Mount.

At around $23 on Amazon, this magnet mount is high quality, very well made and comes with everything you need to install this in your vehicle just about anywhere. I was skeptical at first thinking about some of the rough roads that we go over and really didn't think that a magnet would be able to hold the Glock in such extreme conditions. But with the low price I didn't think I would be out much loss if it didn't work, so I gave it a try. I am very pleased and I haven't had to pick the gun off the floor yet.

I installed in on the console just inside my right knee on the FJ.

It is small, blends in and you really cannot even see it. The gun mounts perfectly and with all of the training I have received as a police officer, I can tell you that time is of the essence in some situations so this is a must if you are wanting good protection from people or animals (sometimes they are the same).

I use a round magnet mount for my EDC (Walther PPK 380 ACP). Same general location in my F150. Only needed one hole in my console.

I prefer mine in my holster on my person. All the time. The idea of it bouncing around the car after an accident, or an unexpected bump doesn't appeal to me. I guess I tend to agree with the late Todd Green on this one (and so many other serious practitioners of good gun handling and shooting these days)...https://pistol-training.com/archives/8826
