I just acquired a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo WK

I'm from NW Ohio

I'm new to overlanding but not to camping, kayaking, and tailgating sporting events. I'm not going to lie I'm missing my truck bed a little bit, I need to build a new design that will allow for a my camp kitchen and solar generator to fit in the rear cargo area. If I could fit 1 of the coolers inside that would be good too. (rear seats need to be left up for passengers.

Ive only taken it that high to see what it would and wouldn't handle when I 1st got it. I didn't want to depend on it for something and it let me down. Thanks on the wiring, it was my 1st build like this. I'm going to be building a smaller version to fit in the back of the jeep using a sealed battery.

Howdy and welcome to OB! That is a pretty sweet setup you have there. It shouldn't be too difficult to convert it over to the jeep. May just have to downsize it a hair.
