My friends and Reps gathered this weekend to go out and have a nice tour.
Helping me out with some details about Market Garden.
And today we had also a nice trip.
Think that again we have shown people the nicer areas of the Netherlands.
If you forget the damaged tarmac, this small roads and surroundings were the scenery during Market Garden in 1944
The Memorial at Liessel.
Freed twice during Market Garden. Eyewitnesses told historians this battle here was as fierce as the Normandie landings.
A tank outside the Overloon War museum
Björn and I were together at a MG memorial near Groesbeek.
It represents a glider during the operation.
Björn and Mareike during our trip of today at a real Dutch Cheese farm.
Great trip and in the end after heavy rainfall it was a bit muddy.
