Advocate I
Hi,
I have an iKamper mini on the back of my truck, next the to tow hitch I also have a red anderson plug to accept solar input which I normally use for my panels when Im parked up camping. I would like to know if anyone out there has attempted to stick flexible solar panels to the roof of an iKamper mini (rocky finish)? I would like to generate power to the fridge in the tray so I can leave it on 24/7 and think running the panel front to rear down the middle and wiring it so that the hidge end of the iKamper has the wiring/connections (with slack) attached to it and then run under the bottom of the RTT and pipe it down to where I need it to go.
The front runner at the moment is: AllSpark 120W Flexible Solar Panel with Corflute backing & 3M VHB tape
Fridge being powered is: https://www.arb.com.au/portable-fridge-freezers/elements-fridge-freezer/
Any recommendations on flexible panels or ones to stay away from?
Cheers!
