A friend of mine has one for his 1960 Mini, and loves it. With a 5000 pound limit, I don't think I'd use it with my 4800 pound curb weight truck.

They make a 7000 lb version that's closer to the mark. I'm probably going to keep looking, most likely I'll end up with the AC Hydraulics 4400 lb jack. It's long reach low profile - stupidly expensive - very high-quality jack. Range is about 3.5" - 31". 4400 should be enough for corner or end lift. For one job I need a minimum 24" lift and more would be better.

Still looking.

I have used the Bendpak lift beofre and it is a very nice, easy to use system.

Im shopping for a new 4 post automotive lift right now.

I'd love a 2 post, but I have this 8' ceiling in the way. Even the garage door sits too low to do anything useful. It'll have to wait until I move. After thinking it through some more, I've decided to just wait until I can do it right. Floor jack and jack stands will have to suffice until then.
