Howdy, from NE Oregon and planning to start the White Rim Trail in March then work our way South. Primarily looking for dirt roads and off the grid. "05 Tundra rigged for off road and with a '16 FWC Hawk. Good to go. Any "gotta see" locations, let us know; our list is growing!

Thanks,

Phil

I don't have any suggestions for you but I wanted to say welcome from Oklahoma and let you know that we have a weekly Echolink ham radio net on Friday evenings.
Time : 5:30PM Pacific Standard Time or 17:30 hours Pacific Standard Time
Where : Echolink Node 591550 (USA-GNG) known also as Grits N Gravy, DMR TG 1137550 and Allstar 41130
If you don't have access to an Echolink/DMR/Allstar repeater the Echolink app works just as well, many of us use the app.
Hope you can join us.

You might also check out and post up in the regional areas in which you are wanting to explore.

Prerunner,

Thanks for the offer, if I can figure out how to do what you suggest I will give it a try. Using a FT1DR/DE Yaesu handheld with magnetic antenna. Bigger problem is that I really don't know how to use the radio, but fortunately my neighbor does! And he is a good instructor. Primarily on trips I keep it ready for Wilderness Protocol and local weather.

Thanks Again,
Phil
