Greetings from the Free State of Florida. I have been a member for a little over two years but this is my first time speaking. I am a lifelong backpacker whose knees gave out a few years back and overlanding has been my salvation. I am slowly upgrading my 2010 FJ Cruiser and expanding my territory beyond Ocala National Forest. I lived in Atlanta for 32 years so am familiar with the N Ga Mtns but am looking to explore TN, KY and NC in the next couple years. Would love to meet up with any others who love and respect nature.

Thanks

Rbindawoods,
Welcome.
I used to backpack a bit myself. Section hiked almost all of the Appalachian Trail. Never did complete it. Would have liked to do a thru-hike, but never had the time. Nor did I discover the merits of NOBO vs SOBO.
