So I'm music festival junky turned wanna be overlander. I moved to San Diego three years ago from the east coast and have taken a break from the multiple festival summers. I'm trying to do Hardly Strictly in San Francisco this Oct. I really want to camp out of the 4runner somewhere close to the festival. Rob Hill and Kirby Cove seem to be the closest from what I've googled. Anyone have any other recommendations on vehicle camping spots or any other "should knows" before I just get an airbnb.
