Ham radio test

I successfully used an app called Ham Study. It's free and I had all the answers going into the test ingrained in my head. I took my time and spent 2 weeks reviewing a little each day. Also, I took a local HamCram review class on the same day I took my test and passed it easily. Good luck on yours.

I’ve played with many of the online practice tests over the years helping people study. They’re all good, and function similarly. Having a set question pool helps that!

I used the study guides from KB6NU for my Tech and General. https://www.kb6nu.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/2018-no-nonsense-tech-study-guide-v1-1.pdf though the General is no longer free.

Also forgot to mention that it tracks your progress. I definitely feel better going into my upcoming test.

I used and recommend Roy Watson's "HamRadioExam - Technician" (and General and Extra) app for the iPhone. It will help you:
- Study the complete question pool and the correct answers
- Take practice quizzes for each section
- Take practice tests
- Track your results so you know what you still need to study

Definitely be looking for a book to expand my knowledge. Will look into the Gordon West books. Are they available online?

I picked mine up on Amazon, but I see he's added a software thing to the book now. If you don't want the software (I don't know anything about it) you might also take a look at ARRL's or Craig Buck's or Stu Turner's books. Search for "Amateur Radio Technician Class" - that should bring up the usual suspects.

Well as I sit here in heat and humid of Texas the direction I would like to go is north and west. Not really ham related answer but dang is hot and humid here.
