Overland NTH has a few events every year ( one in June, one in September, and one in February) around central Ontario. There are also a few clubs that may have things happening throughout the summer (Bancroft overland club, BK Overland, among others)
The OF4WD web site has an events calendar and a list of clubs that are associated with them. If you don't know about the OF4WD they are the Ontario Federation of 4WD enthusiasts , and advocate keeping trails open to the public, and educating users on the best way to use a trail and not cause damage to the land or vehicle. They also have a trail index for members that has downloadable GPX files, camp spots, and member updated trail status, as well as run many events every year. They charge an annual fee for membership but it is very reasonable and if you become a member of a club it is cheaper.
