I have been told that getting custom parts for the Xterra is difficult because of the unibody

I don’t have one, but I’m pretty certain that the Nissan Xterra is body on frame and not unibody, Or is there some other car called xterra now?

Its body on frame, it just isn't as popular here in the US as somewhere like Australia so the aftermarket for it is small.

I just found these.... looks interesting
I looked at those also, and think they would be great if you want to take shovel, axe, hi-lift, etc. off your veh. when not overlanding. I tend to leave everything on mine and have lockable mounts, although with some creativity these may also be.
