I wish my T4 came with that nice ground tarp.
My T4 overall seems well designed and constructed. But I don’t like that bathtub style removable floor as it’s impossible to get a tight seal in the corners and bugs keep crawling in. Every trip I keep getting ants (primarily) as well as other crawlyes. The corners have some structural parts of the tent that interfere with sealing the velcro. I thought of spraying the Velcro corners with a bug repellent but you‘re never sure how those materials might interact with the chemicals. I’d rather just have a sealed floor, or some other method for removal than Velcro. Maybe a zippered skirt.

Just picked up the new T8 from them, A bit odd on the naming, but its basically the T4 Plus (same dimensions) but instead of the screen room, its like the other half, and enclosed. (I still have my RTT though) going to try this thing out.

What is the overall footprint on the T8? I like the Plus as a vestibule but maybe the 8 is a better option for my situation?

Exactly the same as the t4 plus. Quoth the rep answering my questiions:
" As far as the T8 it is a new product we just released. It does have the same dimensions of the T4 Plus because we didn't want to change the dimensions at all. The T4 Plus and the T8 are different tents. The T8 is a fully enclosed tent and the T4 Plus has a screen room available. "
