Ford E-350 ambulance trailer hitch?

Hello Overland Community,

I hope you are all well

I have a 1997 Ford E-350 Ambulance by Wheeled Coach. I am trying to get a bolt on trailer hitch for it. It is just going to be for a bike rack right now or maybe a motorcycle rack. Has anyone done this before?

The rear step may get in the way but it also may not.

I have contacted E-trailer with only a little bit of help they are steering me toward a universal RV style one which cost much more and probably weighs more but I could do last resort if it will for sure fit. Trying not to have to weld something.

I don’t know much about Ambulance E-350’s but you may have to consider a front mounted hitch instead. I have seen motorcycles and Bicycles mounted in front of vehicles before. May be something to consider.
