Traveler I
2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport
Black
88,359: 10/17/20
This Jeep has been loved well, cherished, and we are sad to be parting ways. Only reason we are selling is to accommodate a growing family.
Tires were replaced 2 years ago
Regular maintenance
Never driven in icy/salty roads, Texas lifetime residence until 2020
Two owners, original purchase in 2016, 35,000mi, $28,000
Classic manual windows, one of the best features of the Jeep.
** Inspection this coming week (10/20), will add additional info
Its a 2012, and we drive it conservatively as an off-road vehicle, but it does have expected wear for an 8 year old. Its been well taken care of and has small cosmetic signs of wear that have only added to its character.
Upgrades:
LED Headlights: solving the horrid problem of night time visibility classic for stock wranglers.
Frameless Soft Top:
35” ProComp A/T tires
2” Lift, Fox 2.0 rear shocks
Black Diamond plate security cargo cover:
EOD steel bumper with independent tire swing arm
Textured flooring (no carpet) to reduce road noise and heat, eliminates dirt or other debris from making a mess. (Ever driven a Jeep with bare floor and no carpeting? Yeah, its loud and hot.)
Replaced radio system.
Head/Tail Light guards
Paracord grab Handles
Minor Problems:
Minor scratches from normal use as an offroad vehicle, lovingly referred to as desert pin striping.
Windshield has a few starbursts, no large or spreading cracks. We have been traveling cross country frequently over the past year (Military moves) and would have replaced it post-frequent highway use.
Soft top velcro on the rear has a hard time staying down with windows off. Can be replaced.
Two paint/body issues, one on the passenger door near hinge, and one by tailgate handle. Door was an instal accident and the tailgate was from a reverising into an obstacle. Neither are a large issue, covered with black tape to protect from water. (Photos)
Currently needing a coolant sensor and tire pressure sensors to be replaced, (tire/engine light on, but tires and Jeep in working condition).
Additional photos or videos are available on request. Trying to make this as contactless as is comfortable for the buyer, however arrangements can be made to test drive.

Frameless Soft Top:
- Quick release for open air driving instantaneously. At a stop light, you can reach up and open the top well within 10 seconds.
- Slant back design
- Overhead storage pockets for docs, temporary shades storage, or maps (old school).
- Windows can be stored in the roof
- No giant frame shoved in your cargo space and scrunched soft top when you want to go for a drive.
35” ProComp A/T tires
2” Lift, Fox 2.0 rear shocks
Black Diamond plate security cargo cover:
- This makes an awesome short-wheel base utility vehicle functional and secure when adventuring using the soft-top, or no top.
- Lock away expensive and precious gear with peace of mind. No one will see or slash your top/windows to take your stuff adding insult to injury.
- Replaces the back seats and increases storage capacity.
EOD steel bumper with independent tire swing arm
- You can open the tailgate WITH the swing arm. No need to open the tire swing to get to the door.
- Swing arm can be disconnected from tailgate (photos)
- You can purchase attachments for the swing arm to mount roto paks, gas cans, hilift jacks, or an above tire cargo carrier. Items can even be stored to the rear of the tire on the back side of the swing arm, and can be accessed without having to open the tailgate.
