I have 2 Esbit stoves 1 for each vehicle and was wanting to store the stove and the fuel tabs that it uses in both my vehicles just as a use in an emergency type item. I can't seem to find any info if they can be exposed to hot temperatures without combusting or affecting the fuel tabs. I know with the MSR and Jetboil etc you can't expose those fuel cans to extreme temps (Sitting in a hot car) but cant find anything on the Esbit fuel tablets.
Any info or personal experience would be appreciated.

If you call companies and ask for them, they must send them or fax them to you under law. Years ago, i got volunteered for that mission, and made for a process of assembling a DATA SAFETY log book of any and everything we might possibly come across and kept ready in the office..

I have the Esbit cook set with the alcohol burner. I also have the tiny Esbit solid fuel folding stove unit with extra fuel tabs that can be used with the alcohol version if necessary. That is my emergency stove, and fits in a small metal box....5x8x3 inches.
