Some photos from a quick trip last weekend with my wife and dog, our first time exploring the Sierras.
I skipped the technical Jeep trails since we were a solo vehicle and I’ve never done them before, but still got had a great time on some of the rougher areas. The drive up to Hawkins peak was fun and the Forestdale Divide was gorgeous. I didn’t review the NFS road closures closely enough and we were stopped by the non-existent bridge at Alder Creek - by the time we got there it was getting pretty late into Sunday so we decided to head home, but it was a great trip and I can’t wait to get back and explore more.
