New to the app and trail finding. Strange request. I'm trying to find a fun easy trail near a casino within 200 miles of simi valley. Promised the wife I would take her to the one armed bandit and would like something for me to do for half the day. Any suggestions? I'm having so much trouble finding a trail, so I'm throwing out to cyberspace. Thanks in advance!

I'm confused, are you near Simi Valley or are you talking near Morrongo?

Morrongo is a stone throw from so many great trails.
A fun beginner friendly trail is the PioneerTown to Big Bear Trail
It is a great trail that goes from Joshua Trees on the desert floor up into the Mountains.

Trail Recon (YouTube, forum member) does great trail review/guides on this area.

Near Simi, not near a casino, but Hollister Hills SVRA is a good place for a wide range of skill levels

Thank you! I'll have to check those out. I ended up taking her to Yaamava in Highland. So, I ended up doing the City Creek Trail to Alder Creek. (1n09)
I live in Simi, so I was thinking maybe someone near me also drops off the wife at a casino to go off reading near me.
Thank you!

I've also heard that he spends his free time gambling here at the best casinos with fast payouts.

If they’re closer to Morongo, that Pioneertown-to – Big Bear run is a perfect “ease into it” trail with great scenery changes. If they’re actually near Simi, Hollister Hills is tough to beat for variety. Either direction, they’re not hurting for good places to explore.
