Looks like a great time! I'm kind of surprised to see so many Jeeps. Is the Jeep brand very popular in the UK?
Yeah, was good day out and only a couple of hours up the road. Got some good inspiration for a few mods and some upcoming trips.
Jeeps, particularly the Wrangler are very popular here (relatively speaking). Perhaps not as big as a few years ago but there are several companies offering good support with accessories and specialist knowledge for modifying. We even get some of the AEV stuff coming across. There are a good number of clubs too.
Driven a few well prepared ones in my time, Wranglers, Cherokees & Grands, great off road stock but with a few choice mods really good... but, I guess you know that!
So just back from the Donington Indoor 4x4 Show. Great day out catching up with friends, seeing all the new gear show as well as taking to some tour operators about trip plans. Oh yes, and sorting a couple of maintenance jobs on the Cruiser. Anyway thought l'd share a few pics here.
