So this is the DIY chainsaw box I made today for around $20 simple & easy. It works with all my other Ridgid boxes I use for storage in the Adventure Pony.

but how did youn cut the hole for the blade ??

I plunge cut it with the saw it self, I just measured where I wanted the hole and cut it out then used a grinder to open it up enough for the cover to if in.

Looks good but I think I'd just dismount the bar/chain and save some more room.
