That guy can stick a landing! Awesome.

Heck that dent almost makes the Jeep look cool with the tire tread stamped on it. I'd consider keeping it haha.

I wonder how this could have been avoided though. That could have ended really bad.

In the video I think there was only one vehicle with a flag, I never been anywhere in the dunes that did not require flag on your vehicle. It probably would not have helped in this incident, but it shows that safety may not be priority.

Good point. I also noticed a lack of flags.

However, like you said, probably would have still happens being they were over the hill.

I have been a off road MC rider and intermediate ranked desert racer since I was 10. Yes no flags on the vehicle but in this case a flag would not have been seen by the rider until he was in the air anyway. And the biggest complaint I have is where is this guys spotter(s)? You jump a blind hill that far, MY GOD, have at least one spotter at the top to warn you or the people below off. Why were all the people at the top just standing there ignoring the situation even the guy with the camera? I have seen this before, problems with both sides of this, but if I was jumping like that a good spotter would be mandatory or I would not jump it. I would be more mad at them than the jeeps.

I agree about no spotter. I also raced desert and grew up in the desert riding and wheeling. Not knowing what or who is on the other side has hurt and killed many people. Both bike and Jeep were lucky this time.

Yeah they were, if he lands a couple of feet to the left and goes through the roof they would both be dead.
