I have seen them. Very quality product.
RTT does not work because diamond back hinges from center of bed. You won't be able to open it up, so now your bed is pretty limited. You could build a drawer system, but might as well get a camper shell and RTT on that

Can't make it through the day? Back up, and get a run at it!

I had one on a 2002 Dodge 2500 Ram long bed. They are definitely well made. As stated earlier, because of the hinge and door setup, putting a rack 0n the bed is not practical. Look at the Rollbak product. They make a aluminum manual roll up that will hold 200lbs of static weight, and will roll up under a rack for your RTT.

I had one of these on my 2004 RAM 2500. Better option and much cheaper especially if you are going to put a rack on over it.

Dad has one on his 04 Dodge Cummins. Super strong, well built product, its amazing the looks people give you when you have 2 full size quads up there.

Not sure how an RTT would mount on it though. As others have said, it flips up from the middle. You could build a rack up higher over the front part of the cover, and in theory this would allow you to still open the rear half.

I like it for the ATV carrying ability. I was thinking that if you dont leave the RTT on full time, but wanted full time coverage it would be a good option. But it would almost require putting in slides. I had a camper shell, but didn't like the cargo height restriction, and the visibility cut down.

I'm going this route with the Diamond Back. I'm gonna put two sets of racks on it. One on each cover. The front one will be for more permanent items that I wont be pulling off and on. The back one will be for items that will come off as soon as we reach camp. That way it can be opened to retreive items from under the cover.
I like the versatility of the Diamond Back and how easy it is to remove when I need to haul tall items. The load capacity is insane.
Heres a guy who put a RTT on his Diamond Back but I do agree that it makes accessing your bed difficult.
