Was looking for some yellow/amber small led light bar for our van. After looking around for a while found very nice expensive ones but also very cheap ones.
Since the light are probably not going to be used that much I thought I will give the cheap ones a try. I do have a love hate relationship with cheap stuff from China.
But for 9 dollar per light I just had to try it. And I ordered this one from Aliexpress:
ECAHAYAKU Single Row Straight Slim 7 inch LED Light Bar 12V 30W 6000K Waterproof White/Yellow for Off-Road SUV Car 4X4 ATV Truck

When they arrived I connected it to a lab power supply to see how much power it really takes. The 30watt in the title is like you can expect not true. It does 1.2 Amps at 12 Volts so that will be 15Watts per led bar.
Nice thing is the led bar seems to have a constant current regulator in it. From 8 to 12 Volt it goes from dim to full brightness and from 12 to 24volt it keeps the same full brightness.
Took the led bars outside and tested them with a separate battery in a dark snowy environment. My phone camera is cheap and isn't that sharp and the colors are a bit off.
But was pretty satisfied with the amount of light they give.

Build quality... Well what can you expect... Cheap stuff from china. The side covers were a bit crooked. Took the side covers off and found a problem..
The white gasket material that seals the yellow lens sticks out at the sides. Which gives problems with the side gasket and cover.
Cut off the excessive white gasket material to make it flush. This fixed the crooked side covers and hopefully any leakages.
But was impressed by the thick plastic lens. Expected it would be a flimsy.

And the way the lens is mounted is a bit dodgy. Allen key bolts just screwed against the lens and is totally crooked as well.

Well what can I say. I guess these lights will have problems in the future due moisture because of the bad build quality. But if you will take some time you probably can make them a little bit better like I did.
There is no small vent like more expensive led bars have. Should be an easy fix to make one your self like drilling a hole and make a small vent tube or so. But would do this if problems occur.
For the money I think you can't go wrong for a set below $20. But if you really depend on a light bar then I would skip these led bars!
