New to the app and group. Taking a cross country trip with my oldest son from NY to TX then up to Yellowstone and finally home to WA in my dads 2008 Jeep Wrangler he left me when he passed away. I am wanting to do some of the CDT from Breckinridge to Rawlins and was just looking for some info as to what the “CDT easy” really means on the GPX track for the whole CDT, about how many miles it is for that section, and an approximate driving time. We will be taking this trip in July. Apologize for my ignorance in not understanding everything on the GPX track.

While I do not know what the source of your GPX file is, I did run that portion of the CDT after the Mountain Expo in 2021 with my brother-in-law. The CDT route is primarily maintained gravel roads designed for big/heavy adventure bikes. In our Land Cruisers we typically did around 75 miles a day. That is leaving camp mid morning and landing at camp late afternoon while taking time to "stop and smell the roses" along the way.

The GPX file is the one found here. Joined this group after watching the YouTube series from the trip they did of the whole CDT.
