Sometimes in Australia, we put a canopy on the back of our utes. They provide some security and weather protection for the gear in the tray and are usually made of fibreglass (FRP).
In looking for a potential American-based Overlanding vehicle, I'm trying to figure out the terminology of a similar setup that I can add to a "pickup".

They obviously exist but what are they called in the US?

Picture borrowed from a website to describe what I'm asking. That one is a bit upmarket for me.

We call that a truck with a shell in CA, The shell is also called a topper or a cap in other states. That one is a smart cap, good unit.
