Bikepacking trip 03/31/2018 (only one night)

Hello everyone,

I am doing my first bikepacking trip on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Think of bikepacking as overlanding but with a mountain bike. This will be done in the Ocala area. I will be riding roughly 25 miles, stopping for the night at a campsite, hang my hammock, then head back on Sunday morning. The entire ride will be off-road on single track trails.

Sounds like fun, I bought a fat bike a couple years ago just for that sort of thing. Unfortunately I can’t get down there from NC. Good luck, let us know how it goes [emoji1303]

It was a great time! I was planning on updating my blog and posting the link if anyone cared but I got caught up with work and school so I never got to it. However, I’ll be planning another trip once the weather starts to get cooler.

Cool to see this stuff being shared! Always down for backpacking, canoe camping, ect. Beats driving a long way just to bounce around in a truck
