Do you like fantastic views and great fishing?
Background:
I have a special-needs brother who loves the outdoors but has difficulty going on long hikes. We took him to Independence Lake (north of Trukee) last summer, and he absolutely loved the experience! If you haven't been, I highly recommend going early to get the free kayaks and motor boats! More Info Here.
We purchased a 4Runner to bring him on future adventures, and currently plan on going to Sardine Lakes (Tahoe) and a few other places this summer!
The truck is currently stock, but we plan on modding it as needed. Looking for trails that are easy/medium so that we don't over-extend the 4Runner.
Questions:
Do you have favorite destinations with great views and fantastic fishing in the West?
Any places with fantastic overlook view points?
*Also, we're primarily looking for places to camp overnight and enjoy a multi-day trip!
