Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I've used channel nuts from Fastenal, they slide into the roof rack grove & secure down
in this pic they hold LED's extremely well, I have 4 LED's on the roof & they havent moved one bit
I'm sure they would also hold an awning

The awning does have a channel that bolts slide in to.. That's how it's mounted to the bracket

I recently purchased a 1.4 x 2.0 (small vehicle) awning...the build was pretty good and the hardware supplied was of good quality....$140 AUD delivered from Ebay
