We are thinking about upgrading our Jk's factory navigation / radio head unit to one that is Android Based. Not impressed with the navigation functions from the factory. Would be nice to natively run Gaia and other apps without using Android Auto which gives limited functions. Not much space in Wrangler for a stand alone tablet on a mount. On of the few units we have found is the Carobotor K1 (mixed reviews on You Tube), and there are a few other poorly documented import units. Most units require minor to major cutting of the dash requiring purchase of a new dash part if you want to go back to stock. Wondering if anyone has an android based head unit in their Jeep, and what they think about it.

I used to have an 06 TJ that I put a Joying head unit in. I had it loaded up with Back Country Navigator as well as a few other nav apps. It worked pretty good. Well so good, I want to get another one for my Bronco.
