Oops, that's never a good thing lol.
I scored a pair of Rubicon take-off axles from a local guy a couple of weeks ago. They were already geared to my needs which was a plus. Both still have the factory E-lockers in them which will be nice since my Jeep was running open diffs. The front is built to hell so going from the factory Dana 30 to this will be an incredible upgrade. As it currently sits it is configured as such.
Factory Dana 44
5:13 G2 gearing
G2 chromoly axles
Synergy sleeve kit installed
Synergy gusset kit installed
Artec truss kit installed
Synergy ball joints
Synergy tie rod
Synergy drag link
Bracketing for PSC Hydro assisted steering
Teraflex Forged Monster Trac bar
As you can see quite the upgrade over a Dana 30. Install was relatively quick (14 hours over two days).
All work was done in my buddy's driveway.
Next up will be the sPod installation this coming weekend. Wiring up the lockers. Wiring up new JW speaker fog lights.
In the next month the PSC Hydro assist will happen along with the possible installation of a new lift. It was unfortunate that I didn't have the lift when we did the axle work since we are gonna have to disconnect much of it anyway but it is what it is.
