Always tinkering

  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I confess, my neighbors & friends think I’m a bit crazy/anal/ you name it. I’m always tinkering with stuff. Hey, tinkering takes a lot less money & time than when something fails in the field. After our last trip the weak little rubber cushions quit doing their job and the propane bottle left it’s mark on the roof rack. Easily solved with a dimpled rubber mat, a drill, bolts, nuts and fender washers. Install the mat dimple down. No more steel on aluminum. 60DE0AF0-8FBD-441C-8004-D64304E777F5.jpegC32A6305-9592-4887-BD33-AF7605FC0A15.jpeg5440155C-E720-4783-A937-4153E50A9A8E.jpegC9422B4B-069D-4E91-AF49-29DE46B8E5DF.jpeg

Nice DIY solution! I love the concept of “make it better/ make it your own”.
