Alibaba or MadeinChina?

Has anyone ever bought a Roof Top Tent or other type of tent from Alibaba.com or MadeinChina,com? Apparently RTTs and other tents are advertised on these sites much cheaper than elsewhere. Personally I am nervous about conducting transactions for large ticket items offshore. If you have bought RTT or other tents from these sights I would like to hear about your experience.

Personally I have not but I could see the appeal to save a good sum of money. I would also be concerned with warranty and quality with a big purchase like a roof top tent.
Ive recently been talking with a company named Burmis which is from Alberta Canada but they make a great tent and have similar tents to other companies but it seems the materials and quality exceeds others and typically at a lower price.
