Need some advice. My wife and I are planning a road trip from Tennessee to Colorado next August. I’ve been looking for places to rent either Roof top tents or off road campers and haven’t had much luck. Wanted to know if anyone knew of a company that we could speak with. Probably will be coming in on 70 through Denver and going south from there.

Have you checked outdoorsy.com? I live in north Texas and they rent both. To rent most of the roof top tents you need a specific roof rack installed. But for the cost, I would purchase a budget rtt and then sell it on FB market. You can find a smittybilt RTT for $800 on www.allianceoverland.com or check if they still have them on amazon.

Im not sure if he will have exactly what your looking for but he might be able to point you in the right direction. I rented a built 5th gen 4Runner in 2018. It was very well maintained and he was extremely helpful getting us set up and on suggestions of places to go. I just talked with him last week and he said they are looking to potentially add a camper soon. Definitely would rent from him again if I needed to.

Good luck!
