IMG_1138.JPG IMG_1139.JPG We are currently overlanding through Turkey and at present in Cappadocia.
2 days ago we noticed a lack of performance especially on hills and I noticed the turbo boost was not reaching full boost.
Quick check and found the intercooler was blown.
We reached out to Overland Anatolia who we have followed and communicated with previously regarding touring Turkey and we asked if they could recommend a garage.
True to form they said they could help and called the mechanic to confirm he could help us so we headed over there, just a couple if miles from where we are based.
It was hoped to repair the intercooler but sadly it was too far gone as can be seen. I think maybe crossing the mountains and steep climbs as we drive from Tasucu to Goreme pulling the trailer were just too much for it in the end.
After much searching and telephone calls the mechanic found a replacement in Istanbul and it should be here Monday.
So fingers crossed everything will be resolved and we can carry on our way just a little delayed
It's support like this from other overlanders that can make or break a trip and Emre at Overland Anatolia stepped up above and beyond.
