Good Evening.

Glad to have finally joined after lurking for quite sometime. Came across the site after camping at Fowler's Hollow State Park and learning about dispersed camping being allowed on State Forest land.

Did a search for Bald Eagle State Forest and showed up here and figured this looks like a great place to grow our off pavement travel/dispersed camping.

We do alot of camping with our travel trailer (every weekend from the start of PA fishing season til November).

We have decided to try leaving the Travel trailer at home and get out to a few places we haven't been.

We have a 2015 RAM 2500 as our current tow pig/offroader/daily driver.

We also have an 03 and 99 Dodge Ram 2500 and a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 Van.

Planning to make a dedicated overlander and a touring mobile hotel room out of the batch.

Hoping to be able to learn and to share my knowledge and experiences.

Thanks for the welcome. I had been lurking here for awhile deciding how best to go about joining.

Lots of great info and members here, so I decided to jump in, learn somethings and help out how I can.

I added some pics to this thread

welcome, my last two Overland rigs were second Gen Rams. Great platform. I miss my Ram, but a las my Bronco is going to better suit my needs. I also had a ford Van once. It was a very capable, and probably my favorite Overlanding setup. If I still Had a fleet of kids to haul around, I would be looking for a second gen 2500 or 3500 dodge van.
